1. Introduction

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the EduRisk website (edurisk.uk) and, where applicable, the EduRisk risk management software ("the Service"), provided by CX1 Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing our website or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. About the Service

EduRisk is risk management software designed for UK schools, academy trusts, and multi-academy trusts. The Service allows organisations to:

• Log and categorise organisational risks
• Assign ownership and review dates
• Generate board reports
• Maintain audit trails

3. Website Use

The EduRisk marketing website is provided for informational purposes. You may:

• Browse the website to learn about EduRisk
• Contact us via the enquiry form or email
• Link to our website from your own (without framing)

You must not:

• Use the website in any way that is unlawful or harmful
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
• Reproduce, duplicate, or resell any part of our website without permission

4. Service Subscriptions

Access to the EduRisk software is provided under a subscription agreement. Schools and trusts wishing to use the Service will enter into a separate agreement that sets out:

• Subscription fees and payment terms
• Service levels and support
• Data processing terms (Data Processing Agreement)
• Duration and termination provisions

5. Pilot Programme

We offer a pilot programme for selected trusts. Pilot participants receive access to EduRisk under pilot-specific terms, which may differ from standard subscription terms. Pilot terms are communicated separately to participating organisations.

6. Intellectual Property

The EduRisk name, logo, website content, and software are owned by CX1 Ltd or our licensors. All rights are reserved.

Your use of the Service does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the software except as expressly permitted.

7. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

For subscribing organisations, processing of risk register data and related information is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, provided as part of the subscription contract.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the website

Liability in relation to the Service is governed by your subscription agreement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
